The Federal Government recommended extending the withdrawal of fuel subsidies for another 18 months on Tuesday, and it intends to attempt to modify the Petroleum Industry Act to that aim.
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Timipre Sylva, revealed this to State House correspondents in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to the minister, the Federal Government will seek amendments to the Petroleum Industry Act in the National Assembly (PIA).
