After months of disruption in the academic calendar owing to bandit assaults and military operations against them, it has also announced a new restart schedule for its schools.
The state’s commissioner of education, Shehu Makarfi, made the announcement in a statement on Thursday in Kaduna.
He also stated that the resumption will take place on Sunday, September 13th- Friday 17th December.
Schools will resume the first term for the 2021/2022 academic year, rather than the third term, according to the commissioner.
He went on to say that the state has devised measures to ensure that the third term is completed via online platforms.
