Prince Harry Visit Borough Market.

Prince Harry made a surprise visit to Borough market as it was reopened after recent terror attacks. Eight people were killed and dozens were injured on the incident which happened on the 3rd of June.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said: “Prince Harry was keen to come down as soon as possible to spread the message that the vibrant market is open for business.”

Prince Harry’s first point of visit was the Bread Ahead bakery, whose staff fought off the attackers with brooms and crates, the bakery also sheltered people during the rampage.

Prince Harry also visited the Wheatsheaf pub near where the attackers were eventually killed by the police. Prince Harry praised the strength of the community and said “London as whole is magic”.

The market was closed for 11 days and a moment of silence was held before traders resumed their activities. Londoners were told “This Is Your Market” in a show of defiance against the terror attacks.

Many were glad that the Prince paid a visit to the market and said it gave them a reassurance of safety.
